    Available Positions & Descriptions:

    Translators (TLs)

    • Machine translators (MTL) and human translators (TL) are being sought for novels in these languages:
      • KR (Korean TL)
      • JP (Japanese TL)
      • CN (Chinese TL)
    • Description: ✘ Translate the original text of the raw source into English.
    • Requirements:
      ✘ Pass our translator exam first!
      ✘ Recommended to know Google Drive & Google Docs if working with our editors.
      ✘ MTL applicants must produce quality translations—no pure MTL.
      ✘ Must post at least 2 chapters per week.

    Editors

    • Editors should be proficient in English and able to spot grammatical errors, restructure sentences and paragraphs for better flow without changing the original meaning.
    • Requirements:
      ✘ Pass our editor exam first!
      ✘ Have access to and know how to use Google Drive & Google Docs.
      ✘ Communicate clearly with the project’s translator to resolve questions or concerns.
    • Editors are optional and may be terminated by the translator if not performing.

    Payment Terms

    For Translators (TLs)

    • Payments are made during the last week of each month.
    • Patreons and Ko-fi earnings belong solely to the translators.
    • Payouts are made when you have accrued at least $10 in ad revenue.
    • Earnings are calculated the following month. For example, views and calculations from February can only be viewed/reflected in March.
    • Payment calculation: ([Your Total Views] / 1000 x $0.50) x 0.99 (site maintenance)
    • Translators can choose an editor to assist them. If the editor is not performing, the translator may terminate the editor at any time.

    For Editors

    • Editors receive 2% of the translator’s total earnings if actively assisting.
    • Editors are optional and must coordinate with the translator.
    • Editors can only request a payout if their total earnings reach $8 or more.
