A Little Moved

The man slowly turned his head, and Jiang Yi felt his heart skip a beat—something inside him seemed to shatter.

The man had delicate eyebrows and eyes, yet his demeanor was elegant and unapproachable, like white clouds in the sky or flowing water in high mountains.

After seeing Jiang Yi, his expression remained calm and undisturbed, but in his eyes appeared a trace of inexplicable emotion. His jet-black pupils had shadows floating and sinking within them, making it difficult for Jiang Yi to see clearly. The man gently brushed the stray hair from his forehead, his slender, fair fingers touching his shiny black hair bun. The collision of white and black created a stunningly beautiful visual effect. He lowered his arm to support himself on the floor and slowly stood up. The sound of fabric rustling broke through the deathly silence like something cutting through air.

Only when he saw him move did Jiang Yi snap out of his daze.

He furrowed his brow, secretly wondering why he would stare at a man so intently.

After the man stood up from the ground, he made no further movements, simply putting both hands in his pockets and looking at Jiang Yi with a composed manner.

Jiang Yi was even more puzzled. Having a person mysteriously appear in his house was already bizarre enough, but this person not speaking or moving—having absolutely no reaction whatsoever—left him at a complete loss.

Jiang Yi stared intently at the man, thought for a moment, and asked, “Sir, what are you trying to do in my home?”

The man smiled, his smile carrying a hint of contempt. “Let’s cut straight to the chase—what exactly do you want by trapping me here with your sorcery?”

Jiang Yi became angry. He had never seen someone falsely accuse a good person like this. His tone turned cold. “How dare you turn the tables on me! What do you mean I trapped you here? I should be charging you with trespassing!”

After Jiang Yi finished speaking, he saw impatience rise on the man’s face. The man slowly walked toward the drawn red line. The moment his light gray silk pants touched the edge of the red line, the previously calm and still red line erupted with brilliant red light. The red light shot out forcefully, repelling the man back to the center of the formation.

“You see? If this isn’t sorcery, what is?” The man crossed his arms and looked at Jiang Yi with a cold laugh.

From the moment the red light had burst forth, Jiang Yi was dumbfounded.

He rubbed his eyes and pinched his thigh, but still couldn’t digest what had just happened.

The formation had actually worked! But how was it somewhat different from what he had expected!

Jiang Yi’s face turned green with anger, and he stomped his feet in frustration.

Damn it! What I wanted was a girl with big breasts and a big butt—why the hell did you summon a man for me? What’s this supposed to mean?

Could two men produce an egg together?!

Jiang Yi was filled with resentment. When he turned his head, he saw the man staring at him, clearly waiting for a reasonable explanation.

Sheepishly touching his nose, he said, “You… you really can’t get out?”

The man rolled his eyes impatiently. “You saw it yourself. If I could get out, would I still be stuck here for a whole night!”

“What exactly do you want to do? Why did you trap me here?”

Faced with the man’s interrogation, Jiang Yi didn’t know how to answer!

Should he tell the truth and say that he, Jiang Yi, was already in his thirties and still didn’t have a girlfriend, so to attract romance and find a girl, he set up a marriage formation, but instead of attracting a girl, he ended up trapping a handsome guy here!

Never mind that the man in front of him wouldn’t believe it—even Jiang Yi himself thought it was utterly preposterous.

Seeing that Jiang Yi remained silent for a long time, the man’s expression grew even more impatient. “Why don’t you just say directly what you want to do? If it’s within my capabilities, I’ll definitely help you achieve your wish. I’ve been missing for one night. If I don’t return by noon, my bodyguards will come looking for me. If this matter blows up, I’m afraid you’ll end up with a charge of illegally restricting someone’s personal freedom.”

Jiang Yi furrowed his brow in deep thought. Judging from this man’s clothing and manner of speech, he should be someone of status. If this matter really blew up, he would definitely, as the man said, end up with a charge of illegally detaining someone.

He, Jiang Yi, had lived for thirty years with a clean record for half his life—he couldn’t end up with a criminal charge in his old age.

Jiang Yi hurriedly smiled apologetically. “Sir, this is all a misunderstanding. I truly had no ill intentions. I set up this formation just for fun. I never expected to trap you inside. I’ll tear it down right now, right now.”

While speaking, Jiang Yi reached out to dismantle the formation, crumpling up the red cord and wooden posts and tossing them aside.

In his heart, he cursed Taoist Cao’s ancestors going back eight generations.

Seeing the formation torn down, the man snorted coldly, turned around, and walked toward the door.
